That summer of ninety-eight was in many ways a fairy tale, and not the least part of it was being introduced to both France and football while France was winning the World Cup on home soil. Oblivious before, I’m still a fan twenty-eight years later. Go Canada! Allez les Bleus! Canada and France could meet in the quarterfinals. Wouldn't that be something?
